Consumers

“Consumers” is a term used to describe people who will use or “consume” services provided as part of aged care. You might be an older Australian looking for services or information for yourself or a family member. Or you may be a younger family member or carer seeking support for an older person. Either way, as you visit our Consumers page you’ll see described a range of services that can be tailored for your need. And to get things started, we offer a free initial phone consultation!

Service providers

Aged care continues to reform and change as government (and the community) seek excellence in service for our highly respected older generations. All Things Aged Care is the perfect partner to support services providers, local government and organisations as they grow and develop their care provision. A visit to our Service Providers page will show a range of flexible options covering training, workshops, information, consultancy, locum roles and project management.

About

Judy Hallett - All Things Aged CareIf there is anything Judy Hallett doesn’t know about aged care in Australia, it probably hasn’t happened yet! Judy has more than 30 years experience in roles as diverse as being:

  • a personal carer for older people and people with dementia living at home (at the start of her career)
  • manager of teams of carers providing Home Care Packages
  • directing a large, multi-campus complex care case management team across a busy inner city suburban area
  • overseeing a Regional Assessment Service for My Aged Care and providing sector support and development services
  • chairing boards of community development and overseas aid organisations.

This vast experience and a commitment to ongoing learning and development ensures Judy has a detailed, confident and up to the minute knowledge of aged care and related services.

And if that is not enough, her own personal journey of caring for several older relatives in recent years, as they have moved through various stages of aged, dementia and palliative care – including interactions with the health and hospitals system – virtually guarantees she has the answer you are looking for, no matter how big or small the question.

But it is not just answers Judy is hoping to provide. She genuinely loves and cares for older people, is a great listener, has vast life experience of her own and is passionate about enabling older Australians to maximise their independence and quality of life while ensuring they receive the care, support and services they need and deserve.
